Bridging Communication Gaps: AI Applications in Sign Language and Accessibility

Knowledge University organized an important seminar entitled “Bridging Communication Gaps: Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Sign Language and Accessibility.” The seminar featured a panel discussion and dialogue among specialists, with extensive discussion on the topic.

The seminar focused on how artificial intelligence can be used to overcome communication barriers and enhance accessibility to sign language for people with special needs.

The main presentations of the seminar were delivered by Dr. Hawraz Awni Ahmed from the College of Engineering at Salahaddin University, Eng. Sazan Kamal Suleiman from the College of Engineering, and Eng. Yara Muayad Tahir from the College of Engineering.

Meanwhile, the seminar was moderated by Eng. Shang Masoud Abdullah from the College of Science, while Eng. Zeina Yaqob from the College of Science led a further dialogue on the topic.
